Hello! Its been a long time since anyone has posted any updates related to the project, now's time to begin. This will be the very first EverEmber Reborn development post! We'll try to give sneak peeks of the game, its content, its development and its current state. We plan on getting a pre-alpha demo done to show off some of our games ideas and mechanics around July in order to kickstart the project. Basic first look details: EverEmber Reborn is a spiritual successor to EverEmber Online. The game is no a sequel nor a remake, its its own game, but it is set in the EverEmber Universe. Many of the original locations (such as Darom, Avgard, Dragons Pasture, etc...) will be in the game, and monsters and creatures will have some relations (Reaper and Dragons). The game will be a Unity 3D Multiplayer Battle RPG. It will be in its own category of openworld multiplayer rpgs, in which there is minimal grind, and no leveling system, pure skill and item based progression. Aspects from Rust, Reign of Kings, EverEmber Online, Ultima Online, and Agar.io will be incorporated into the game to make for a competitive, fun, and fast experience. EverEmber Reborn is an Open World Action RPG made by a small indie dev team. The game is without boundries, you form your own adventure based on your own choices. If you are in the mood for a hardcore openworld action RPG similar to that of Runescape/Ultima online/Skyrim, then this is your type of game! You are free to travel around, explore, fight, meet new people, progress through the ranks, and eventually conquer Ember Castle for yourself. With a vivid player based economy that thrives on player made items with a in game crafting system, interaction between players is vital. The goal of this game is to recreate a emotional connection with your character, with hardcore death experiences, human interaction, and trail/error based game play. Players are free to role-play, form teams, and add each other to their friends list. Friends can add each other to each others parties, and travel in safety across the large world of EverEmber. PVP is rich, with plenty of options between melee weaponry, potions, ranged weapons, and armor. Guilds will keep the player base together, forming guilds, partnerships and guild wars for Ember Castle. There is also a lack of class constraints, which enables for players to freely change between playstyles at any moment! A detailed WIP and todo list will be posted soon! We don't want to spoil much, but we'll make little teasers and image posts. Our first official EverEmber Teaser will be of Darom.
